Had problems running GPUGrid on a 660 . . .

GPUGRID.net is a volunteer distributed computing project for biomedical research from the Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona (Spain). GPUGRID is made of many graphics cards (GPUs) joined together to deliver high-performance all-atom biomolecular simulations. The molecular simulations performed by our volunteers are some of the most common types performed by scientists in the field, but they are also some of the most computationally demanding and usually require a supercomputer.

That's All I run (Long tasks).

Being as my card is 1/2" off the bottom of case it does run Hot. I've got and Big Floor Fan blowing on it w/side off case.

Humm they seem to be out of Long WU's ATM.

Had a bit of that problem myself, crunched some Einstein to keep my 660 running.

GPUGrid has been refining their software and hopefully will keep the WU's flowing.

I had a couple of GPUGrid's error out. . . on a restart my GPU magician [I use EVGA Precision v2.1.2 myself] didn't slow down the memory clock and they failed. Back crunching them again.

GPUGrid runs so well on a 660 that I am considering getting another. . .
