Greetings from Brooks, Kentucky in the USA

Postby Retsuh » Fri Jan 16, 2015 1:46 pm

Hello teammates, fellow "Crunchers" and brothers/sisters in Christ,

This greeting hails from a small 'one-stop-light' town (Brooks) in Kentucky! My username is Retsuh. I joined the World Community Grid at the beginning of December in 2014 and have been looking to join an active team with strong beliefs ever since. I am grateful for having found you all and I am looking forward to working along side each one of you as we pursue research using our spare CPU cycles.

I like playing ultimate frisbee, video games (Dota 2, League of Legends and Clash of Clans mainly), watching movies and serving our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

God Bless!

Retsuh <><

Welcome to the team and forums! I think there are some folks in my Christian gaming guild that play LoL. I've been playing mostly Guild Wars 2 lately.

Glad you're here!

Welcome, Retsuh. It is pretty quiet around here, but there is some serious crunching going on.

Thanks for the greetings, everyone!

Also thank you for the heads-up USAFA82, I'll hop over to the gaming thread when I have the chance. I've always been interested in Guild Wars (both I and II) but have never dove into them.

Hi Retsuh, welcome to the team and forum! I'm north of the border in Indiana; please don't hold that against me.

Ultimate frisbee, eh? You must be in better shape than the average bear (read: "me"). I do enjoy throwing the frisbee though.

Thanks Col323! Haha no worries, my wife is from Indiana - I find Indiana natives to be pleasant folk :) In fact, I play Ultimate frisbee with quite a few people from Indiana at Louisville's Waterfront Park on occasion, good times. I like to stay active - weather and body health permitting.
